Alright Boise, this one’s for the folks who like their country a little gritty, a little groovy, and a whole lot heartfelt — because 49 Winchester is headed to the Knitting Factory on Saturday, August 30th, and this night’s gonna be one for the books. This once in a lifetime show is gonna be one of those boot-stomping, tear-shedding, shot-taking, singalong kinda nights with all the besties in the city. So go ahead and cancel your plans, stretch out those hamstrings (you’ll be dancing), and get ready to party with a band that’s gone from back porch pickin’ to full-blown global takeover. The "Leavin’ This Holler" Tour is a year long celebration of a sound that’s been honed on countless miles of backroads, festival stages, and honky tonks across America’s pridelands. And now - it’s our turn Boise. This Knitting Factory show marks a major moment in their wild ride — tucked between huge festival dates and overseas flights, this stop is the kind of intimate, bring-the-whole-town energy the band lives for.
Now, if you haven’t heard of 49 Winchester yet… first of all: how dare you. But second of all: welcome! There’s still time to redeem yourself in the judgement free zone ‘round here. These boys hail from the tiny Appalachian town of Castlewood, Virginia — population: not many, passion: endless. What started as a group of lifelong pals making music in a little brick house on Winchester Street (yep, the actual 49 Winchester) has now turned into one of the fastest-rising names in roots rock and country soul. Think: country music if it drank too much whiskey, fell in love, and told you all about it at 2 AM with a guitar in hand.
And don’t worry, this ain’t no stiff, arms-crossed kinda crowd. No sir. This is where boots hit beer-soaked floors, where lyrics get screamed louder than the band, and where everyone leaves a little sweatier and a whole lot happier.
So here’s the deal: if you love honest songs, good people, and the kind of music that makes you wanna call your mama and your ex all in the same night — this is your show for you. Tickets are flying faster than a Sunday sermon in a thunderstorm, so grab yours now. August 30th, downtown Boise, 49 Winchester at the Knitting Factory. Let’s make some noise, y’all!
