Knitting Factory Concert House
Legendary alt-country pioneers The Old 97’s are hitting the road for their 2026 Tour! They will perform in Boise on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at the Knitting Factory Concert House, one of the biggest shows of the summer here in Idaho.
The Dallas-based group has been perfecting their blend of alt-country for over 30 years and are still producing some of their best work. In 2025, the group was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Americana Music Honors and released their latest album, American Primitive, in 2024. This show will feature old favorites like “Time Bomb” and “Question.”
The evening will open up with River Shook who brings raw story telling to the show. River Shook, previously known as Sarah Shook and the Deals, leader of her eponymous act, has been getting lots of attention for her outlaw country with a modern twist. Her debut self-titled album was a favorite of many critics.
Tickets for this show start at $45 and are available now. This show will be held at Boise’s Knitting Factory Concert House a unique, intimate setting in the BoDo Entertainment District with a capacity of 1,000 patrons. Doors for this show will open at 8:00 PM.
Knitting Factory Concert House presents your all-time favorite letting loose all those explosive riffs; those roof-raising vocal chops that masterfully shifts from sensitive and quiet to raw, unfiltered power in seconds; that fierce sonic execution that hits the crowd right in the solar plexus; those lush melodies sprinkled with a touch of punk ethos; those lyrics that the entire crowd bellows right back at The Old 97's; the unfiltered talent that oozes from the stage, flowing nothing but pure energy into the crowd; and of course, that hit-bursting back catalogue and a feast of new music from their latest, and probably best album being served up in an all-you-can-eat feast. With special guest River Shook supporting on this 2026 Tour stop, nowhere could be more mind-blowing, more terrific, more exciting than experiencing that for yourself, taken to the next level!
